According to a survey concluded at the end of 2012, the top security concern worldwide across all sized businesses is mobile security. It’s no surprise – the use of mobile devices is rising, and most businesses are embracing the many advantages they bring. BYOD programs are increasing, and mobile security is more relevant today than ever before.

The survey also indicated that half of U.S. organizations with more than 1,000 employees are evaluating Mobile Device Management this year, and approximately a quarter of them are already using it. That’s no surprise either – mobile device management offers control over all connected devices in a business.

2X MDM solutions such as 2X MDM also take security very seriously. It offers mobile device administrators all sorts of options from being able to remotely remove rogue apps that may contain malware to enforcing a password policy company-wide.

2X MDM also gives you the tools to keep sensitive corporate data safe even if a mobile device gets lost or stolen, even if it isn’t connected to the internet. Remote lock a device to prevent unauthorized use until you can retrieve it (2X MDM will show you where all your devices are on Google Maps) or if it is irretrievable simply remotely wipe all data from it.
