Unless you’ve been living in cave with your eyes closed and your fingers in your ears, you’ve heard by now that Parallels has launched the beta program for Parallels Workstation for Mac OS X! Unlike Apple’s Boot Camp dual-boot solution, our solution lets you run Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OS/2, eComStation, Solaris or MS-DOS at the same time as OSX, which in my opinion, makes it a much more efficient solution than a pure-dual boot.

Don’t take my word for it. Check out what these guys have to say about us!

There are about 50 other articles circulating now, if that’s not enough for you. 🙂

Got a MacTel? Want to check out what the whole world (literally) is talking about? Get Parallels Workstation 2.1 for Mac OS X now!

Today has been nuts as I am sure you can imagine. I’ll post some of our slicker screenshots and talk more about this tomorrow.

Parallels Desktop for Mac
17 Ready to Run Windows 8.1 on Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac?

An update from one of our product marketing experts:

Windows 8.1 was released today, and we are happy to share that we released an update for Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac  — so, now you can update your Windows 8 virtual machines to Windows 8.1. The best approach is to:

(1) update Parallels Desktop 9, then,

(2) boot your Windows 8 virtual machine — which will then automatically update the Parallels Tools inside the virtual machine — and then,

(3) upgrade Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.
