2X MDM allows you to remote lock a mobile device, which is very useful for stopping any suspicious activity or to protect confidential information that may be contained on it should the device be misplaced.

Some users, however, install apps that can override the default Android lock screen, such as ‘Go Locker’. 2X MDM interacts with the default Android lock screen, as it is that which invokes the locking functions and decides whether the user can access the device. We recommend that you always use the default lock screen, rather than an app, in order to ensure full interoperability and mobile protection.

In the future, 2X MDM will introduce an App Blacklisting feature which will disallow the installation of certain apps that can interfere with mobile security.
