New Agreement Allows 2X to Reach 60,000 Value-Added Resellers

Dallas, TX, Jan. 25, 2012 — 2X Software, global leader in virtual desktop and application delivery solutions, today announced an agreement with Tech Data Corporation, one of the world’s largest wholesale distributors of technology products. With this agreement in place, 2X virtual desktop and application delivery solutions will be distributed through Tech Data’s worldwide network of over 60,000 value added resellers (VARs).

2X Software’s flagship product, 2X Remote Application Server, combines the best in application delivery and virtual desktop (VDI) management by allowing administrators to publish applications and virtual desktops from an all-in-one platform. Experience the full benefits of desktop virtualization and improve desktop manageability, security, accessibility and performance by delivering virtual desktops and applications to Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and iOS from any virtualization platform, rather than installing locally, while enjoying additional features like complete universal printing and scanning, virtual desktop pooling and templates, full RDP 7 and RemoteFX compatibility and more.

“Our StreamOne partnership with 2X Software confirms Tech Data’s commitment to provide our customers with innovative software that will continue to help them meet their business goals,” said Stacy Nethercoat, Vice President of Software Product Marketing for Tech Data. “By offering 2X Remote Application Server, our network of resellers are able to provide business value and an innovative solution to end-users.”

“We are extremely pleased to be represented by Tech Data,” said Nikolaos Makris, CEO of 2X Software. “2X products are a perfect fit for the Tech Data reseller network, and we recognize the value of Tech Data’s reputation within the partner channel. As a result, we expect this will further grow the 2X brand among value-added resellers worldwide.”
