In their recent June/July issue, Virtualization Review Magazine posted a highly impressive review of 2X VirtualDesktopServer 9, strongly recommending the product to their audience of over 40,000 IT decision makers. In writing the review, IT analyst Logan Harbaugh notes a key advantage of 2X VirtualDesktopServer 9 against competitors is the way the product reduces “the cost of each workstation and eliminates the need fo upgrade cycles on each system,” as well as having the ability to “reduce management costs and enable tighter control of unauthorized applications, as each actual OS is stored on a server, where it can be centrally managed.” Harbaugh goes on to note particular enhancements provided by 2X VirtualDesktopServer 9, particularly its VDI template and pooling capabilities which will make administration that much simpler for IT professionals.
